APRIL 2026

Transplanted tomatoes are they were getting too big for the 4 inch pots.  A wonderful team of EMG’s spent several hours transplanting!

April was busy month in the greenhouse - many plants reached transplant stage which required more greenhouse hours for EMG’s. Over 1800 native plants, 125 perennials, 500+ annuals, 500 herbs and tomatoes and peppers yet to count.

 Signage is in place for all plants in the greenhouse.

Events like this reflect the mission of the University of Missouri Extension Master Gardener program: Helping Others Learn to Grow.

All American Select seeds were donate to our Platte County chapter.  We grew hundreds of plants sold a lot. Gwen happily took to sharing to the northern counties of Missouri.
